Partying Partying Yeah!

Friday!

What are your plans for the weekend, lovely folks?  Favorite and I are headed to the Oregon Country Fair.  I’ve never been, but Fave is super excited, and as Fave is not usually super excited about things like fairs, I am both intrigued and elated.  It may be worth noting that I am always excited about things like fairs.

A roundup of internet lovelies for your weekend viewing pleasure:

Cute collection of patriotic home goods (and discounts) from the ever adorable Young House Love kids.

Don Miller makes a good point about honesty and the motives of humility.

More cute hair wearin’ tutorials are showing up!

Mandie Marie is one of my favorite new people to read.  She’s laugh out loud funny, but sweet and real in this here post.

Completely inspiring work from this gal.  I need to learn to embroider, stat.

When zucchini explosion season hits (you know it will), I’m totally making this.

I’m thinking just circles, sewn by machine, would make this my absolute favorite party decor idea of all time.

Behind every clever girl is a guy with a beard and glasses.  OMG.

Speaking of guys with glasses and beards, here are some shots of a studly Favorite modeling what he wore to dinner last week:

Sharing is caring.

I hope your weekend is sunny and lovely and blessed and warm.

love.

Well aren’t you lovely :o) Thanks!

That beard and glasses shirt? Oh mercy, that’s wonderful.

Omg, I cannot WAIT for Zucchini Explosion! Thank you for reminding me.

    Three things:
    1. Apparently I’m no longer just a blog stalker because I can’t help but comment. 🙂

    2. I’m with you on wanting to learn how to embroider. I’ve been totally inspired by the book “A Rainbow of Stitches: Embroidery and Cross-Stitch Basics Plus More Than 1,000 Motifs and 80 Project Ideas” SUCH cute projects!!! The Library has it if you want to check it out.

    3. Google “Purl Soho New Year’s Garland” – I’m totally in love with this garland and it sounds just like what you’re describing. It uses little pieces of felt, cut into circles, then sewn with invisible thread.

    Happy Friday!!!
